It was Sennen’s sixth birthday, there was chocolate cake for breakfast as well as plenty of coffee and pancakes. His annual felt crown reflected his fascination of snakes and lizards.
A birthday bike ride was requested, Sennen and his gang of cousins whizzed along the beach path with their fathers and uncles jogging along behind them.
Not all plain sailing but nothing that Mum and Dad can’t fix.
Even more cousins arrive and they convoy down the estuary eventually docking on the beach for more cake and a swim.
The day ended with lobster rolls and crabbing, the cousins catching an unbelievable 41 crabs as their folks sat and enjoyed the very best food truck dinner.
